Junior
Golf - There will be ample opportunities at Plymouth Country Club
for the Juniors to enhance their games throughout the Summer with
clinics starting in June and running through September. There will
also be two golf schools this summer. It is then up to the parents to help provide practice time,
as well as lessons , and to teach their children about the rules of
golf, etiquette, and respect for other golfers on the course. We encourage
honesty, safety and good sportsmanship to ensure a great Junior Golf
experience for all. For more information, please contact our golf
professional Chirs Hanson at (610) 272-4050. |
Tennis - Tennis camps will be held at Plymouth Country Club during
the summer of 2006. They will be under the direction of Dale Bloom
Taylor, the head teaching pro at the club, and assisted by Brian Footer
and Danielle Copelin. Dale is returning for her 17th summer at the
club. She is a USPTR teaching pro. The overall goal of these camps
is to provide a fun and exciting environment in which children ages
3 and up can learn the fundamentals of tennis, and improve their game.
Camps provide a perfect opportunity for young players to devote time
to their game and build their confidence on a daily basis. The camp
is designed for players from beginners to tournament level. Each child
will be carefully evaluated and placed in a group. The importance
of sportsmanship and etiquette are stressed throughout the camp. For
more information, email Dale at bloomtaylor@comcast.net |
Swimming
- Central to the family lifestyle of Plymouth Country Club is the
aquatic center. It has become a mecca for indulgers of the cool splash
and the sun worshippers, but mostly for the juniors learning the basic
fundamental of competition on a sporting plane. Plymouth youngsters
have done nobly in Inter-Club League swimming activity, bringing added
prestige to the club-and a near hysteria excitement to parents at
poolside.
Whether your specialty is relaxing and socializing poolside, participating
in swim lessons, or joining our swim team, Plymouth's well-guarded
aquatic center is the place to be seen Memorial Day through Labor
Day. |
