Taormina Food & Beverage Manager Joe Rizzo Ann Marie Jackson Sales & Catering Manager Golf Professional Chris Hanson Assistant Golf Professionals Mike Housley & Duke Matzik Grounds Superintendent John Connor Chef Len Grande Assistant Chef Mark Langdon Letter from the President Dear Members: Here at PCC, our employees are one of our biggest assets. They are trained to treat our members with respect, but first we must lead by example. Let us treat them as we would like to be treated...an occasional “thank you” will go a long way. Plymouth is known for it’s family atmosphere, and our staff is trained to have the best interest of our members in mind. There may be a time when a problem arises or the service does not meet our expectations, and if this occurs please refer the situation to the respective chairperson or myself. I’m assure you the problem can be resolved quickly and responsibly. I believe it is imperative that we create an atmosphere of positive thinking and enthusiasm for the future of our Club. As you can see from the renderings on display at the Club, we seek to transform our club as one of the most enjoyable clubs in the Philadelphia area. The problems which we must address are obvious such as we must improve our facilities and the pool area. Above all we must increase our membership. Our dining membership could be one of the best deals in our area. I’m sure we all have a friend, neighbor, or relative who would enjoy our fine dining here at Plymouth. So please make an effort to recruit one person to join the Plymouth Country Club family and have a “home away from home” atmosphere. As your president, I am always open to your comments and suggestions. I would also like to remind everyone to please sign up in the Pro Shop before going out to play. This is a club policy and must be enforced. Thank you for your cooperation. Sincerely, Joe DeSantis MIKE’S MINUTES by Michael J. Taormina, Club Operations Manager Can you believe it is already June??? The weather is finally turning in our favor and the course is in great shape. Come out and enjoy PCC!!! OUR MEMBERS are our biggest marketing tool bar none and we need your help. We have just under 200 Active Members and we need more. Entertain your friends, clients, and coworkers here, so they can enjoy the course and the camaraderie, just like you do on a daily basis. Our new Dining Membership has helped us pick up almost 20 additional memberships. The thing about Plymouth Country Club is, yes the course is nice, and the food is good but the best thing about PCC is its membership. Thanks again and we look forward to having a great 2008! Our "Red" theme will center around healthy heart awareness and promises to be a fun as well as educational day. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women and early warning signs are often missed. Education will help increase awareness but money for research is always needed. We kindly ask you to consider donating to this cause with us. During the month of June we will be asking any members who wish to donate to The American Heart Association do so in the name of PCC. Information on how to donate will be around the Club. Please give your donations to Mike Taormina, Chris Hanson or me. This year our Member Guest will be Chaired by Sandy Cooper. Sandy and her committee have planned a day that will make Plymouth Country Club proud. I encourage all Ladies who have golfing privileges to participate.
